VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Be Part of the CWRA National Conference 2025 in Penticton, BC!

The Canadian Water Resources Association (CWRA) BC Branch is excited to host the 2025 National Conference, slated to unfold from May 25th to 29th in Penticton, BC. We are inviting all proactive students and junior engineers to volunteer during the conference.

By volunteering, you will:

  • Provide wayfinding for tour and workshop attendees
  • Provide technical assistance in presentation rooms.
  • Support with conference set-up

Volunteer shifts are strategically scheduled to not interfere with social and networking opportunities. This ensures you can mingle and connect with professionals across diverse water resource specialties. Moreover, we aim to accommodate volunteers’ preferences for specific sessions, depending on the schedule and volunteer availability.

Commitment: Volunteers must commit at a minimum to a half-day shift (5 hours). You can volunteer up to a day and a half (15 hours), in half-day shifts throughout the conference.

Perks: In appreciation, volunteers will receive complimentary conference registration and meals:

  • Volunteering for a half-day shift grants complimentary registration for that specific day.
  • A commitment of more than 5 hours, e.g. a full day or two half-day shifts, entitles the volunteer to complimentary registration on both days.

Seize this opportunity to be a part of a fantastic CWRA event, bolster your professional network, and contribute to the success of the our annual National Conference 2025!
