Ontario’s Four Season Playground
The Southern Shores of Georgian Bay is known as Ontario’s Four Season Playground. Who knew just one part of Central Ontario could be so diverse? A UNESCO biosphere reserve, the southern shores of Georgian Bay give rise to the highest point of the Niagara Escarpment.
While you are here be sure to check out the surrounding areas – from the heritage town of Collingwood, quaint villages of The Blue Mountains and Meaford, and the small town charm of Clearview Township. Shop in one of the towns or villages. Visit a vineyard, orchard, or micro-brewery. Get a taste of the local cuisine. Go paddling. Go hiking. Go cycling. Go caving. There is so much more to see outside of the resort.
Georgian Bay Tourism has a great website with load of information on the area.
